These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and InstaPresentation ("we", "us") about your use of instapresentation.com and its apps, API and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you. You can't use the Service if you're barred from doing so by law.
Your account
Keep your email account and sign-in links secure; anyone with access to your email can sign in as you.
You're responsible for what happens under your account, including API keys and agent connections you create.
Give accurate details, and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
Plans, payments and credits
Paid plans (such as Hub, Pro, Studio, Team and Business) are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel or change plans any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
AI features use credits. Your plan's monthly credits refill each billing month and don't pile up beyond your plan's monthly amount. Credit packs you buy don't expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
Storage add-ons and team seats are billed the same way as plans.
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we choose to make an exception. If something went wrong, email us and we'll look at it.
Current prices are introductory. If you subscribe at an introductory price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active; if it ends, a new subscription is at the price then in effect. We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time.
Prices don't include taxes unless stated; you're responsible for any taxes that apply.
Free accounts and beta invite codes have limits (for example, which AI-made decks can be presented, downloaded or edited with AI). Invite codes may have an expiry date and a limited number of uses.
What we provide, and keeping your own backups
InstaPresentation provides a service for creating, editing, presenting and sharing slide decks. It is not a backup, archiving or file storage service, and no plan (paid or free) includes a guarantee that your decks or files will be kept or can be recovered.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any presentation that matters to you. Export important decks (for example as PowerPoint or PDF) and save them outside InstaPresentation, such as on your own computer or cloud drive, and do so again after you make changes.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the loss, deletion, corruption or unavailability of any deck, file, recording or other content that you have not saved elsewhere, whatever the cause (including outages, bugs, account closure, or actions taken by you or people you share with). Paying for a plan doesn't change this.
Your content
You own the presentations, text, images, files and recordings you create or upload ("your content").
You give us permission to store, process, copy, display and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service for you: for example to save it, show it on your hub when you make it public, export it, and send it to our AI and hosting providers to carry out your requests.
You're responsible for your content, and you confirm you have the rights to everything you upload or share, including images, logos, fonts and music.
Presentations are private unless you choose to make them public or password-protected. Public content can be seen by anyone with the link.
AI features
AI can make mistakes. Check facts, figures, quotes and sources before you present or publish anything the Service generates, even where it shows a source.
You're responsible for how you use AI output. Generated text and images may be similar to what other users receive and may not be protected by copyright.
Don't use AI features to create content that breaks these Terms, including misleading images of real people.
Acceptable use
When you use the Service, don't:
break the law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
upload or share content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually exploits minors, or promotes violence;
impersonate others, or create deceptive content or deepfakes of real people without their consent;
send spam, phishing or malware, or use share-by-email to contact people who haven't asked to hear from you;
try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around limits or security, or access other people's accounts or data;
create multiple accounts or misuse invite codes to get free credits or plans;
resell or offer the Service to others as your own without our written permission.
Templates
You may use our free templates for your own personal and business presentations, including downloading them as PowerPoint files. You may not sell or redistribute the templates themselves as templates.
API, integrations and agents
API keys and agent connections are for your own account. Keep keys secret; revoke any you think are exposed.
Use of the API must follow these Terms and any rate limits we set. We may change or limit the API to protect the Service.
Custom domains
Only add a domain or subdomain that you own or have permission to use. You're responsible for its registration and DNS settings.
Custom domains are offered at our discretion. We may remove a custom domain from any account at any time, with or without notice, for example if someone else owns it or disputes it, or if it's used in a way that breaks these Terms. Removing a domain doesn't delete your hub or decks; they stay at your instapresentation.com link.
A domain you add but never connect (by pointing its DNS at us) is released after 14 days, so someone else can use it.
Other services
The Service connects to services run by others, such as Google (sign-in and Drive), Stripe (payments) and websites or videos you embed in slides. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put the Service or others at risk, or that we're required to act on by law. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or download your content.
What happens to your data when an account closes is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Service
We're always improving the Service, so features may change, be added or be removed. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. The Service is not a backup service: keep your own copies of important presentations (see 'What we provide, and keeping your own backups').
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply.
